Case Study 2017

Case Study Tantallon Road

Renovation and upgrade: Glasgow Langside residential property

Brief: To create a more vibrant and welcome flat, to give bathroom and kitchen brighter and cosier look. Both bedrooms had lighting issue; the main bedroom close to the window making the opposite side darker. The back bedroom faces north and big trees shelter the room from the natural light.
Requirement to be warm.

Solution: The vibrant and cosy look was obtained by using colourful paints and walnut furniture. The bathroom was making brighter by using off white vinyl tiles and the creating a striking contrast between the dark walls and the whits. The kitchen became cosier by highlighting the units by replacing the old tiles with cream once and using a light yellow green colour for the walls. The lighting was plash under and inside the cabinets to make the tasks easier.

The two bedrooms were make brighter by strategically placing the led panels and using open lamps that can spread the light every where in the room.
